JACK CHANT Peacefully, on January 8, 2000 at Tache Nursing Centre, Jack Chant passed away at the age of 68 years. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 20 years, Josephine (nee St. Germaine) step-children, Frank, Sandra, Carol and Ida-Marie. He was predeceased by his parents, Jordan and Fern and a brother Vern. Jack served with the Canadian Air Force from November 14, 1950 till 1955, and was employed with C.N. Rail from August 22, 1966, retiring September 30, 1991. Funeral service will be held Wednesday January 12 at 2:00 p.m. at P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion St. Interment will follow in Waverley Memorial Gardens.
